I know who is fake
I just enjoy their performances
I know who is pretending
I just don't interrupt the show
Some people think i am unaware
When i am simply choosing to stay silent
I notice lies
I notice change
I notice everything
I just don't react to anything
Because sometimes
Peace is more important
Than exposing the truth.

Transient droplets
Shining like pearls

Sometimes
Remind me

Of a lifespan
I have....

Does it matter
If my life has been

Like a drop
In the ocean of TIME

Isn't it good enough
Each morning

I am able to
Rise and shine

Why bother even if
I don't wake up tomorrow

I am grateful that
Today was mine...

I kept on going...
Step by step...
One step at a time...
Without looking back...
Without thinking what lay ahead...

No one I followed...
No one I lead...
Nothing I heard...
Nothing I said...
Sometimes I was slow...
Sometimes I sped...

The journey is all that matters to me...
I care not what awaits me in destiny...
I will keep going on and on...
On the mysterious path unknown...

Someday the truth may itself unveil...
Till then I will try even if I shall fail...
Life is a long, unending, arduous trail...

"Time"
